The first hurdle is the distance between the two projects.
The donor soob is in Ft Simpson NWT, My bus is in Victoria.
Approximately 2500km apart.

Loaded the family in the rabbit.

The Operating Table is a field in the middle of nowhere. I used whatever tools I could scrounge up and borrowed Rod's awesome hoist.

Im not a mechanic!

I used a lot of bug dope and http://www.boxerswaps.com/ to help me out.

Wiring harness removal is no small task.
Looks as though mice have enjoyed snacking on some of the insulation. Embarassed

I'm all over the internet with transmissions on my mind.

I'm not intending to build a race car but when I buy the adapter plate I want to know I have strong enough gears.

any thoughts

now to eliminate the wires that I don't need from the donor wiring harness.
As I say at work everyday, "I hate wires."

I found a link that translates the Japanese Subaru wiring diagram.

Im going to dust off this thread and pick up where I left off.

Im trying to work through the wiring harness now, perhaps I should have labeled more when I removed it from the donor. Live and learn.

From what I can see on other busaru conversions I won't be needing these parts but Im hoping that somebody can tell me for sure...
