Maybe come out and hit the show circuite, like go Vic, Vancouver, Washington, Cali...
I bet you could line them up real good and make a full on trip out of it.

That would sure be a treat for you guys in Belgium. I live over here and i still haven't done it. i would love to though. It would be awsome!

I have two used valve covers to use - I'll make one and have a spare if someone else wants/needs one.

there are a lot of people in the watercooled community wanting the Scirocco / Corrado to be put into a seperate category.

I think you will get more watercooled out than last year if you do go ahead with that idea. Many did not enter last year just because the Mk3 class always ends up going to corrados and the mk1 class to the sciroccos.

If we can get some reps from your club at the next meeting I'll set it up exactly how you guys want it. You would be the best guy to come as you seem the most interested.

When one of the watercooled guys come to the next meeting then we'll have a better idea. Are you putting a car in the show ifit?

well, ,maybe, depends on catagorys.

One example, i know of a vehicle that should have won (was stock) but lost to another one (highly modified and custom) vehicle? Veerd.
A few people had thoughts on this issue.

My question was what were the catagorys for this year? As i thought it was put on by this club someone here should know.

example... are all 73 69 beetles in the same catagory? etc...

To answer the side tracked question of Scirocco / Corrado own car catagory, well if theres enough entered there should be.

More might attend the meetings if people quit refering "water cooled" owners to other sites.

Which doesnt VVWC stand for victoria vw club? I didn't think it meant air cooled only.

Most of the tiome when a water cooled guy comes onto the site its to ask a question... there will probably be better answers on the VWDOV

True.... but maybe we should help them the best we can and THEN refer them to the DOV when all else fails. Mike has a good point, we have been making ourselves out to be an aircooled only club.

I'm not really worried about more people attending. I'd love to have 100 people at the meetings but it'll never happen. People have come and gone through the years so that's really irrelevant.

I guess you don't really understand seeing as you don't usually come out to the meetings Evil or Very Mad (small dig Laughing ) I've seen alot of watercooled guys come by and feel really left out only cause of the topics mainly. There is absolutly nothing wrong with having 2 clubs in town. There isn't any air cooled in there club and vice versa. Our club just happens to say Victoria VW club. We refer(or I do) to that site because most of us in the club are useless at telling the Golf/Rabbit etc guys on how to build motors etc and put big bumpers on an earlier car.
