Hi,

We just bought a Eurovan and are trying to find where we can get propane for the fridge/stove. I thought I saw a list previously browsing the forums, but can't find it again (and it was a bit older as well).

Thanks

Farda.

Hi WCP,

I was looking for where to buy the gas, rather than the tank. Someone suggested Peninsula Co-op to me.

However the gas alarm inside just went off, even though the gas valve was shut, and has been for 2 days. I lit the stove after airing everything out and it worked. I tightened the valve outside further and it stopped, but I'm not sure it should be that tight. I don't think it has been replaced in the 20 years and it is pretty rusty.

I guess we may need to get a tank replaced, but at least need an inspection soon, so suggestions for that are welcome too! Elice is ordering us a new mirror, but I'm not sure if they do propane.

Thanks.

Just to clarify... I didn't jump in with the alarm going and light a match! I couldn't smell any gas even before the alarm went off, and aired it for several minutes after.

It was plugged in to the mains with the fridge running (hoping to go camping tonight), but I definitely have it on electric, not gas.

Thanks.
