Thought I'd let you guys know, up here in Nanaimo I decided to lift a bay. Ordered some parts from Wagenswest, a 2.5" lift, spindles and rear plates.
Oh ya, picked up a nice 78 Riv and replaced what was left of an interior with a Westfalia interior. Some new 15" BRM replicas, with 28" BFG all terrains.
I must say, it looks pretty awesome but, I've run into a problem.
Seems with my lift, I've developed cv chatter while they are unloaded. Fine when accelerating. I've tried new off road type II cv's, longer axles, spacers etc, and in all different ways. Hopefully I'll have it figured out soon.

Oh ya, I tried out a new product spray paint, which is actually a vinyl wrap. I'm not that impressed, so I'll be peeling off below the belt and returning it to blue. Hopefully I'll be camping with you guys next month

Did you "clock" your cv joints when your assembled the axles? might be needed if you are near maximum articulation. There are vids on uutbe showing what I mean. With my Vanagon I have the option to use Porshe cv's which allow higher angles (23 vs.17 degrees I think) you might be able to do the same.Go Westy website has some info, so does Burley

Thanks, I'll be checking out "clocking", and yes, looking into 930 cv's and adapters. Are you running 944/924's?

Would you believe it comes in a can ...

https://duplicolor.com/product/custom-wrap-automotive-removable-paint

I had to order it out of a performance shop in Toronto
9 cans cost me just over $100.

Heads up though, flat white doesn't cover dark blue well
It would be great for stripes, wheels etc.
