So I have been working on my 79 type 2 and I accidentally crushed my crankcase breather beyond repair. I have been looking online for a replacement but I can't find anything close to it. Does anyone know where I can at least find the box and breather component? Any info would help.

Here is a link to the closest picture I could find.

There's a dealership in Layton Utah that has one. $115 Cdn.
Or I could order one from Germany. $75 Cdn.

Part#021-115-451-B

Would it be found on a '78 engine? I have a box of parts to go through and may have one there.

Part number 022 115 303 A which is apparently for 75-79 FI engines.

Differs a bit from the one Chris posted, shorter mushroom and straight pipe.
