Hi. Total Newbie here so please be patient. Smile
I have 2 69 bug swing axel transaxels here in Duncan
that are no use to me. They are both runners, but need
brakes etc. Can anybody tell me what they are worth?

Are you sure they are from a 69? Most 69 beetles would have an IRS trans.

Very rare to have one, let alone two, 1200 swingaxles, I believe.

They are definately 69. I removed them from 2 69 bugs I had.
I have a third bug i drive now with IRS ?? trns., also a 69.
Any idea what they might be worth?????

Used swingaxle trannies are usually worth between $100 and $150 a peice in good working shape.

Contrary to what most Americans will have you believe, swing axle bugs were available in Canada, but not the USofA until '77, and know as the "custom", or basic bug. They are actually extremely common.
