Hey guys new to forum. I have a Meyers manxx stylebuggy that has a 2110 in it. Unfortunately two summers ago I dropped a valve and wrecked the one head. Don't know if it is machinable or not. Have basic skills but not enough to take this motor on my own. I took the head down to Albert Hols to see what he had to say. He was not sure if it was machinable but is not interested in rebuilding a performance engine. Wondering if there is any one else on the island anyone would recomend. I'm from nanaimo and really want to get this back on they road this summer. Anyone that can point me in a direction it would be great. Thanks

Here's a link to an old post, started by Ratwell the Mayor of Saanich, from back in the day. Most info is still current and updated.

As for machine shops in Nanaimo, I'd hit Thompson Machine on Kidson or Island D Machine on Wilgress.

OK took a look at that list Andi know a couple shops on there. Ellis actually origanaly built the engine. Is there anybody back yard that has an interest and knows the tricks that go along with building a air cooled performance engine. Its not that I don't want to pay I'm will to invest I just think some times you get a bit more love out a somebody that its there passion interest. Thanks for the list though
