I'd actually preffer someone to steal my identity - they can have all my debt from student loans etc - etc...heck I can't even get a public library card<late fees> never mind another credit card.

And I am not really worried about posting an address publicly per say...but for now I'll leave it for a PM.

My phone number is in my sig pic - that is enuff.
Brad and Dev - check your PMs.

My buddy Tim is interested in coming to see how easy poppin a motor out of a bug is. - Drives a Jetta so I guess he qualifies for club stuff....

Hey Rob, you have a well-supplied tool box? Anything like that you need people to bring?

I just wanna solve the leak once and for all - the motor is strong and doesn't require any attention or maintence right now. I am thinking a warped valve cover or warped head replacement....unless someone else can think of how to solve the scooby doo mistery of leaking oil from a valve cover.......I have tried a few basic things.

Not going to do any super mods - but I do have a full set of new pushrod tubes I might as well throw on - even if not needed.....

Basic stuff.

I do have a healty tool box. I shouldn't require anything from what I remember of pulling it last time I cleaned it up and put in new rings.

Just a thought...If you truly believe itís a warped valve cover, why not replace the valve cover with the engine in the car. Fire it up and see if that solves the problem... before going to the trouble of pulling the engine.

Simply because I am also replacing the push rod tubes.

Swapping valve covers will be done before the pull.

Hmmm... lets see...
17mm wrench
8mm wrench
flat head screwdriver
floor jack
jack stands

I don't know... I thought people kept this stuff in their cars at all times, you know, just in case.
