Update: Went with solid apron. Easier to fix should it get bumped in the future.
Also, provides stronger tie-in of damaged front end to compensate for fixes.

Need to replace my front apron.
Choices are vented (per original) or non-vented.

Any comments on one or the other?
What was the purpose of the vents in the first place?

Leaning toward unvented - just don't know why?

Opinions welcomed.
