imho cantire is the worst battery to buy. i have had excellent success with only two brands, ac delco and interstate. a little more money a lot less problems. congrats on your swap.

Thanks guys.
After the conversion is completely done I plan to change the pop top canvas.
And do a bunch of things in the front dash (fan blower, heater core, resistor)
& speedo rebuilt at RMW ect.

Had the engine running today... but roughly.
So I'm doing some driveability diagnoses. Poop.

But as a treat i installed my new rear hatch struts.
You gotta enjoy the little things.

Update: The van has been running well but struggles a bit on start up so i'm going ahead and ordering a new IAC valve. 350 bucks Sad

In for a penny, in for a pound.

And I'm ordering all the other fun goodies... heater core, blower motor ect.
New pop top canvas!

More progress coming soon...

Another update: New IAC valve improved start up a bit. But still struggles a little the longer it has sat. Leaky injectors?
For obvious reasons things have been a little distracted lately but I'm still moving forward.
I'm waiting for another round of parts from van cafe that includes new fuel pump, pop top canvas ect.
Keep calm and build on!
