Thanks, i guess i will order myself or maybe just goop it up. Seems odd that this part is so hard to get... I couldn't find it on any of the typical parts sites, other than as part of a rebuild kit. And the little one doesnt even seem to come in the rebuild kits!

I appreciate your help, as always.

Hey Chris, Ive been told by two suppliers that the stock bosch plugs for Vanagon are NLA. Is this true? Can you still source them?

The Bosch W7CC0 was the original plug used. We were always told that the "0" was very specific to the Vanagon and had to be used.
Until they dropped the "0" and then said that just W7CC was fine. This was the official line from Bosch.
VW says that plug was dropped in Oct.2003 without replacement.
I've been selling Bosch W7CCs for years now without issue.

Having said that, I fired up the Ol' Classic Box, lo and behold, they still show the OE VW part# available. These would surely be NOS, not new production. I'd just accepted the W7CC supersession for so long I never thought to look for original ones.
So, if they are actually the proper ones, they'd work out to about $15 Cdn ea.
I don't have a photo in their catalogue of these plugs, but the description is Genuine VW, and the part #s don't lie.
If you want I can bring in a set on spec, and if they're no different than what we can buy locally, you're not obligated to take them. But I'm curious to see if they're the real deal myself.

Lemme know.

Thanks Chris, but 60 bucks for a set of plugs is a bit too much. I'll look around for the other type you mentioned. Wink
