I’ve been in contact with the seller but he doesn’t really know anything about the van, said he bought it as a project but is pretty vague when I asked why it’s a “project”. He has no receipts and any work he had did me was done under the table, but he’s not very forthcoming with any information that a normal buyer would naturally want to know. Maybe someone recognizes the van, or knows some history in it. Auto trans was rebuilt at Bullfrog recently apparently and it has a new rad. _________________ Ed

I feel the thing with Vanagon Westys is the quality of the body.
Engines will come and go and you'll want a conversion one day anyway.
What you see should be what you get.
Not a bad deal considering what they go for these days.
