nice work! arent you building another bug too?

it must be weird to undo the work you did building the yellow version.

yup, still building the 60 but I was looking to take a small break from it and wanted to build something i'd enjoy working on

Yellow was never my first choice so it's actually a nice change Very Happy

ordered some ebay seats with a buggy friendly size, hoping they arrive shortly so i can get the interior ergonomics sorted.

Ebay seats showed up yesterday. Initial impression, well built for the price and comfortable but very narrow in the hips. Haven't taken the included sliders out of the box yet.

Had some Herculiner left over from the body so I used it on the topside of the pan halves.

Gathering parts and the shifter came in. Went with a CSP curved 290 mm shaft. Shift ball placement seams pretty good based on the seat height

Gotta love it when a dude's beach buggy is nicer than my daily driver.

So not a lot happening.... minor items getting worked on. I do have a set back though. I've been waiting on ACN for parts and just got word that the Level 5,6 and 7 heads aren't available anymore.

So i need to rethink my heads/carb and cam...sigh.
