Hi,
I am interested in learning about performance upgrades to my 2014 CC R-Line (2.0L turbo). Specifically, I am wondering if a high flow catalytic converter and/or a high flow air intake system would increase the horsepower? Also, I see that the 2016 Golf R has basically the same engine, but puts out 292 hp! Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

As I understand it, your engine would be the same as in a GTI, but the R has a different set up. So you've got GTI power, but it's hauling that heavier, but oh so sexy body.
As for upgrades, I think tuning the ECU is where to start.
