I found a broken piece on my motor.
I'm guessing from the donor crash.

Looks like the VR sensor for the timing. Tells the ECU where the cam is most likely. Haywirebutton will hopefully chime in........

yeah cam pos. sensor driver side top centre behind intake cam gear...did the belt stay on or get tossed? if so... at minimum 2 bent valves and replace the gear ...maybe bent or cracked

I suspected a sensor of some sort. I have pulled it out of position in the photo so that its visible. There is just a small crack on the plastic housing of the sensor.

Before I noticed this broken sensor I had started the motor, and the car ran perfect for about twenty minutes before it quit.

Why it quit was a mystery until now.
